Germany and Switzerland!

Hi Everyone!
We are in Zurich, Switzerland! The last few days have been pretty hectic!
We took our 11 hour flight from Bangkok to Munich last Thursday, we arrived at 7pm and, jetlagged as we were, attempted to find our hostel, this resulted in about an hour of wandering the streets aimlessly before someone asked us in german if we wanted some help and we managed to ask where our hostel was (unfortunately about 2km from where we were!)
The next morning we woke up early and walked around Munich, the buildings are all beautiful! We bought an $8 coffee from Starbucks (we had to share because $8 is way too much for a coffee!). Then in the afternoon we took a train to Zurich and met up with Sabine, who we met on the China tour.

Zurich is a really nice city, all of the public transport is excellent and there is a lot of atmosphere and nightlife despite it being the same population as Canberra! We met some of Sabine`s friends for drinks and then had a nice dinner.
In the morning we took a train to another town and took a cable car up a massive mountain, the view was spectacular! We were above the clouds but could see all of the tips of the mountains peaking out. Then we took a steep train down the mountain and a boat ride. In the evening Sabine took us for fondu (lots and lots and lots of melted swiss cheese that you dip bread in...now I know why the swiss are famous for their cheese, not to mention the chocolate!) Then we went out for some Swiss beer and walked around the town.

Today we went to a big waterfall that was also beautiful! Everything is so green here!

Tomorrow we head back to Munich for Oktoberfest!! We are meeting up with Cat, Ben, Smets and Elise at their hostel in the evening and then we have about 3 days in Munich before meeting up with Laura in Paris. So far Europe has been beautiful (and expensive), Im sure the rest of it will be beautiful (and expensive) too!
